DEFENDANT’S MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME
Defendants, TERESA MENDEZ and UNKNOWN TENANT #1 n/k/a ALFREDO
MENDEZ, by and through the undersigned counsel moves for a Motion for Extension of Time
(“Motion”) to respond to Plaintiff’s Complaint, and in support thereof, states the following:
1. Plaintiff initiated this action to foreclosure on residential property owned by
Defendant.
2. Defendant recently retained Consumer Law Attorneys and the undersign counsel is
in the process of gathering reviewing the facts of the case in order to formulate a response to the
Complaint.
3. This Motion is not filed for the purpose of delay and no prejudice will result to
either party by granting this extension.
WHEREFORE, for the reason set forth herein, Defendant respectfully requests an
extension of time to respond to Plaintiff’s Complaint and any further relief this Honorable Court
deems appropriate.
