CHILD SUPPORT REVIEW PROCESS STATEME NT OF RIGHTS
I. The chi ld support rev iew process begins when you receive written notice.
2. You have a right to 10 days notice of the date, time and place of the child support review process negotiation
conference and to 3 days notice of the date, tim e and place of a rescheduled negotiation conference.
3. The purpose of the negotiation confe rence is to provide an opportunity to reach an agreement on a child support
order.
4. You may be represented by legal counsel during the negotiation conference or at any court hearing.
5. If all parties agree, an agreed order will be prepared and signed and confirm ed by the court without further
notice.
6. You do not have to sign an order prepared by the child support review offi cer, but a non-agreed order may be
ti led without your agreement.
7. You may sign a waiver of the right to service of process.
8. After delivery to you of the petition for confirmation of a non-agreed child support review order, you have 20
days to request a hearing.
9. After confi rmation of an order by the court, you have 30 days to fi le a motion for new trial.
