Loc.App.R. 2.2(A) sets forth the requirement that Appellants initial appellate brief does not
exceed twenty-five (25) pages in length except by leave of the Court. In the instant case, to avoid
submitting to this Honorable Court three separate briefs totaling seventy-five pages, Appellants
jointly are requesting leave to exceed the page limitation by five (5) pages for a total of 30 pages for
a single jointly filed brief. For purposes of the filing of this initial appellate brief, each of the
appellants, Todd Damron, et al., Sean Hale, Lisa Baker, and Michael Hale agree to consolidate their
filings into one brief to cut down on the filings with this Court and to simplify the issues in this
appeal. However, in order to adequately accommodate the arguments set forth jointly by each of the
appellants in this brief, the undersigned counsel has not been able to prepare a brief that does not
exceed the twenty-five pages in length.
For the foregoing reasons, Appellants Todd Damron, et al., Sean Hale, Lisa Baker, and
Michael Hale, by and through the undersigned counsel, request that they be granted leave to exceed
