Attorneys/Parties are directed to be prepared to begin your trial at 9:00 AM on the designated
date. If your case settles prior to trial, you will advise the Court via E-Mail to the Judicial Assistant
at jgibbs@ca.cjis20.org with a copy to Judge Mason at dmason@ca.cjis20.org.

trial date.
- No Negotiated pleas will be accepted after the time of this status hearing.
Cases not reached on a particular day (when more than one case is set), will roil to the following
day, if there are sufficient days remaining in the week. Otherwise, cases not reached during
assigned trial week, will roll over to the next trial period and will be called up according to issues of
the case (speedy, custody, case age)
NOTE 1): CHANGE OF PLEA: Changes of plea to Guilty/No Contest are to
be entered no later than the Tria! Call which occurs the week prior to the
commencement of the scheduled trial period. Contact the judicial assistant
at jgibbs@ca.cjis20.org to schedule the case for plea on the day of trial call or
earlier date. Pleas WILL NOT be accepted after the date of trial call which
occurs the week immediately proceeding the start of the scheduled trial
period.
