appearance as legal counsel for Defendant(s) Butler County Auditor and Butler County Treasurer
in the within cause of action.
2. Defendants Butler County Auditor and Butler County Treasurer state the taxes
levied by Butler County, Ohio, against the real estate which is the subject of this action are the first
and best lien against the subject premises and the exact amount of said taxes is reflected on the
tax duplicate and/or lien records of Butler County, and said records are incorporated herein by
reference and made a part hereof.
3. Further, said defendants deny for lack of knowledge all other allegations contained
in the Complaint.
WHEREFORE, these defendants request the Court to find said taxes due and owing to
Butler County, Ohio, are the first and best lien against the property described in the Complaint; if
said property be sold upon foreclosure, that said defendants’ interest be fully protected and paid
at the time of the Sheriff's sale and confirmation; and defendants be further awarded such relief
as they may be entitled to at law or in equity. L.
