Now come the Plaintiffs in the present action and respect fully move this Honorable
Court to continue the trial of this case that is currently scheduled to commence during the week
of November 5, 2018
As grounds for the present motion the Plaintiffs states as follows:
1. In early October the Plaintiffs served a witness subpoena on Daniel Fortier, the Town
Planner for the Town of Dennis in order to secure Mr. Fortier’s testimony at trial
2. On October 30, 2018, counsel for the Plaintiffs received a copy of an email sent to
counsel for the Defendants by Janelle M. Austin, of KP Law, Boston Massachusetts. KP Law
serves as counsel to the Town of Dennis. A copy of this email is attached hereto and labeled
