KEITH WESTON and INTERSTATE ELECTRICIAL SERVICES CORP., Defendants ee Sewers PLAINTIFF’S- MOTION FOR THE COURT TO TAKE JUDICIAL NOTICE OF MASSACHUSETS GENERAL LAWS CHAPTER 89 SECTION 8 Now comes the plaintiff, Justin Urban (“the plaintiff’), and hereby moves this Honorable Court to take Judicial Notice of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 89 Section 8. Massachusetts Rules of Evidence Section 202(a)(1) provides that it is Mandatory that a court shall take judicial notice of the General Laws of the Commonwealth. As such, the plaintiff _ Tequests that this Court take judicial notice of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 89 Section 8 which in pertinent part states: Any operator intending to turn left, in an intersection, across the path or lane of vehicles approaching from the opposite direction shall, before turning, yield the right-of way until such time as the left turn can be made with reasonable safety. WHEREFORE, the plaintiff respectfully moves for Judicial Notice to be taken of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 89 Section 8 pursuant'to Massachusetts Rules of Evidence Section 202(a)(1).
