MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME FILE REPLY BRIEF OF APPELLANT
Appellant, BYRON MEDINA, moves this Court for an order extending the time for the filing
of the REPLY Brief in this cause and in support thereof, would respectfully show unto this Court:
1. Appellant's brief is presently due with this Court.
2. The undersigned is responsible for representing numerous clients represented by the
Office of the Public Defender in cases pending in the appellate courts of the State.
3. Undersigned counsel is continuing to meet a very burdensome caseload in this Court as
well as other State courts.
4. This motion is made in good faith and not for the purpose of unnecessary delay.
5. Pursuant to Rule 9.300(a) of the Florida Rules of Appellate Procedure, undersigned
counsel has this date conferred with counsel for Appellee, and has been authorized to state that
appellant has no objection to this extension of time.
WHEREFORE, Appellant requests this Court to grant an extension of time of thirty (30)
days in which to file the REPLY Brief of Appellant in the above-styled cause.
