MOTION TO CONTINUE TRIAL-ASSENTED MOTION
Now comes the Plaintiff in the above entitled matter and moves that the trial of this
matter now scheduled on the April 2018 trial list be continued to the June 2018 trial list.
As grounds for this Motion the Plaintiff states that the mediation of this matter was set for
Friday, March 2, 2018. On Thursday, March 1, 2018, Governor Baker announced a severe
weather alert for Massachusetts due to incoming severe weather, including hurricane force winds,
and the Plaintiff will not be able to travel to Worcester for the mediation. For this reason the
mediation was continued.
Further, the parties say that the first available date for rescheduling of the mediation is
March 28, 2018. The parties will need additional time to prepare for the trial if the mediation is
not successful.
Wherefore, the Plaintiff with the assent of all parties hereby requests that the Trial on this
matter be rescheduled to the June, 2018 trial list.
