This matter came before the Court on October 22, 2018, on Defendant Miathi-Dade
County’s Motion for Costs, filed July 31, 2018. Having reviewed the motion, and being
otherwise duly advised, the motion is GRANTED. A judgment of costs is hereby entered in
favor of MIAMI-DADE COUNTY and against Plaintiff EVELYN FERNANDEZ in the amount
of THREE HUNDRED AND TWO DOLLARS AND 85/100 ($302.85), plus prejudgment
interest from the date of dismissal, July 24, 2018, at the rate of 5.97%, in the amount of $4.46,
for a total amount of $307.31. The total amount of $307.31 shall bear interest henceforth at the
rate of 6.09%, as set forth in section 55.03, Florida Statutes, for which sum let execution issue.
It is further ordered and adjudged that the judgment debtor(s) shall complete under oath
Florida Rule of Civil Procedure Form 1.977 (Fact Information Sheet), including all required
attachments, and serve it on the judgment creditor’s attorney, or the judgment creditor if the
judgment creditor is not represented by an attorney, within 45 days from the date of this final
judgment, unless the final judgement is satisfied or post-judgment discovery is stayed.
Jurisdiction of this case is retained to enter further orders that are proper to compel the
judgment debtor(s) to complete form 1.977, including all required attachments, and serve it on
the judgment creditor's attorney, or the judgment creditor if the judgment creditor is not
represented by an attorney.
