Good morning,
I am on behalf of the respondent New York Department of Homeless Services in the above-
writing City ("DHS")
captioned proceeding pending before the Court. As the Court isaware, this proceeding iscurrently scheduled fora
July 23, 2020 return date, with opposition/response papers due tomorrow from DHS.
I have been in contact with the petitioner Ms. Nappi, and the parties have begun substantive efforts to resolve this
amicably. In that DHS requests - and Ms. who I have copied has
proceeding light, respectfully Nappi, here,

consented to request that the Court adjourn both time to respond and and the return date in this
proceeding forthirty (30) days so that the parties may focus their efforts on resolution. This request isbeing made
without prejudice to any other rights, claims or defenses of the parties.
The Court's attention to thismatter isappreciated. When the County Clerk completes conversion of this
proceeding to NYSCEF as requested by the parties on July 18, 2020, I willfilea copy of this request in NYSCEF to
