ORDER
The Motion of Defendant and Cross-Complainant Solomon Sha (“Sha”) for an order granting
his Ex Parte Motion for Terminating Sanctions and Monetary Sanctions Against Plaintiff Sweet.
Production, Inc. (“SP1”); or, for an Order Shortening Time and Relief from CCP 2024.020(a) came on
for hearing on an ex parte basis on December 9, 2019.
The Court, having considered the papers filed in support of and in opposition to the motion, and
further having considered the argument at the hearing, and good cause appearing therefor, hereby
GRANTS Sha’s Motion for Terminating Sanctions and Monetary Sanctions; or, in the Alternative, its
Order Shortening Time. Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:
10 1. Terminating sanctions are imposed on SP1 and SPI’s case against Sha is dismissed with
11 prejudice; and
12 2. Monetary sanctions in the amount of $ are imposed on SPI in favor of
13 Sha.
14 0r, in the alternative,
15 1. An order shortening time is granted and Mr. Sha is relieved from CCP 2024.020(a) so
16 that Mr. Sha’s Motion for Terminating Sanctions and Monetary Sanctions will be heard
17 by this Court on at 9:00 a.m., With an Opposition due
