Defendants submit, and hereby incorporate into their opposition filed April 18, 2018, this
Supplemental Opposition to Plaintiff's Motion to Add Claims of Punitive Damages. Defendants
continued deposing Plaintiff on April 17 and 24, 2018, during which Plaintiff confirmed that she
did not detrimentally rely on any of Defendants’ alleged statements, advertisements, or omissions
regarding the health effects of smoking cigarettes. Plaintiff unequivocally testified that she never
heard, saw, or read a statement from a tobacco company or related organization that was not
advertising, and that she did not believe that Defenda…
