- Attorney Salpy Kabaklian-Slentz appears on behalf of the Department of Child Support Services (DCSS).
The parties are provided an admonishment pursuant to Family Code Section 4251.
The parties stipulate to the Commissioner.
Discussion is had by the Court and parties present.
The Court accepts the offer of proof of DCSS and adopts as findings of the Court.
The Court Orders: The father to pay the sum of $460 per month as and for child support commencing
April 1, 2018. No retroactive child support is ordered. Any arrearages to be paid at the rate of $20 per
month commencing April 1, 2018.
The mother states she remarried on April of 2013.
Spousal support is set at $0 per month commencing April 1, 2018. Retroactive spousal support is
ordered for the months of April 1, 2013, thru March 31, 2018.
The court terminates jurisdiction over spousal support. No court shall have jurisdiction to order spousal
support payable by either party at any time, regardless of any circumstances that may arise.
The Petitioner/mother has indicated she would accept service at her mother's address. The father is
advised to file a motion to modify the child support order and serve the mother by mail within the next 6
months.
The Order to Show Cause regarding Seek Work filed August 8, 2017, is dismissed without prejudice.
Payments are to be made through DCSS by Wage Assignment with the usual Standard Orders attached to
Order After Hearing which DCSS shall prepare.
