DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE for the following reasons:

Plaintiff failed to serve defendant by mail as required by CCP § 415.30. Ifa defendant’s
address is known, reasonable attempts must be made to serve the defendant by mail. In its
application, Plaintiff states that there was insufficient time to effectuate service by mail in
accordance with CCP § 415.30 without any further explanation. Plaintiff must attempt to serve

Theodore Ferrand by mail at 1356 Connecticut Street, San Francisco, CA 94107 and Alexis Mathis

ORDER DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE REQUEST FOR SERVICE BY PUBLICATIONin the same manner at 1056 Connecticut Street, San Francisco, CA 94107 in order to comply with

the requirements set forth by CCP § 415.30.

Plaintiff may resubmit the application to Department 206.
