RC Index No.: 037321/2019
Settlement Conference of August 24, 2020
My Clients: Jeffrey Koenig and Edward Koenig
Dear Judge:
I represent defendants Jeffrey Koenig and Edward Koenig, judgment creditors in connection
with the above matter. Shortly after my receipt of the Complaint, Iserved and filed I filed a
Notice of Appearance and Claim to Surplus Monies on behalf of my clients. This Notice was
electronically filed on January 16, 2020 and appears as Document #28 on the Docket.
Please be advised that on behalf of my clients named above, I do not contest the claims of the
mortgage lender. Rather my clients simply seek to preserve their position and claim in the
event of a surplus.
I would respectfully request that my appearance at the upcoming settlement conference be
waived.
I thank you for your anticipated courtesy.
Very truly yours,
Ricki A Berger, Esq.
