To Sell Real Property
On reading and filing the annexed Petition of The Salvation Army, a corporation duly
incorporated under the provisions of Chapter 468 of the Laws of J 899 of the State of New York,
entitled" An Actto provide for the incorporation of The.Salvation Army, "having.its principal offices
at 440 West Nyack Road, Hamlet of West Nyack, in the County of Rockland and State of New Yark,
being duly verified on the 2nd Day of November, 2011 by Jorge E. Diaz, Assistant Secretary,
Property, of The Salvation Army, praying the leave of the Court to sell its unimproved real property
located at 2 Joe Avenue, Winslow, Maine, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the
interests of The Salvation Army will be promoted by such sale it is::

l ADJUDGED that petitioner has complied with Section 511 of the New York Not For profit,
Corporation Law, and Section 12 of the New York Religious Corporations Law; it is further
l
ADJUDG ED that the consideration and terms of the transaction are fair and reasonable, and that the
purposes of the Petitioner will be promoted by the sale. It is hereby:
ORDERED: that The Salvation Army be, and it ishereby granted leave and authority to sell its
. improved real property located at 2 Joe A venue, Winslow, Maine, hereby ratifying the sale of the
same to Jason T. Phillips, which property is described in the Resolution attached hereto and made a
part of the Petition, for the sum of NINETY-SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS, ($97,000.00)
CASH, which is fair and reasonable market value;the net proceeds from said sale to be used for
capital projects; and it is further
ORDERED: that a copy of this Order shall be.served on the office ofthe Attorney General; and it is
further
ORDERED: that the office of the Attorney General shall receive written not~cethat this transaction
has been completed or abandoned, or if the same is stillpending ninety (90) days after the date of
this Order.
