JENNIFER D. ENGLISH herein swears and affirms the truth of the following, upon
information and belief, under penalties of perjury, pursuant to CPLR § 2309:
1. I am an associate with the law firm of Quinn Emanuel Urquart & Sullivan, LLP,
located in Los Angeles, California. This Affidavit is respectfully submitted in support of
Plaintiffs Home Equity Mortgage Trust Series 2006-1, Home Equity Mortgage Trust Series
2006-3, Home Equity Mortgage Trust Series 2006-4, and Home Equity Mortgage Trust Series
2006-5's Motion for an Order, pursuant to 22 N.Y.C.R.R. §§ 520.11 and 602.2(a), seeking my
pro hac vice admission to the Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York County.
2. I am a member in good standing in all of the jurisdictions in which I am admitted
to practice, specifically the State of California. A Certificate of Good Standing from the
Supreme Court of California is submitted herewith as EXHIBIT A.
3. I have not previously been admitted pro hac vice to the Supreme Court of the
State of New York. I am not presently, and have never been, subject to a disciplinary
proceeding.
4. As required by 22 N.Y.C.R.R. §§ 520.11, I am familiar with and shall comply
with the standards of professional conduct imposed upon members of the New York State Bar,
including the rules of court governing the conduct of attorneys and the Disciplinary Rules of the
Code of Professional Responsibility. I shall also be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the
State of New York with respect to any acts occurring during the course of my participation in the
above-captioned matters.
WHEREFORE, I respectfully support the motion submitted by Plaintiffs Home Equity
Mortgage Trust Series 2006-1, Home Equity Mortgage Trust Series 2006-3, Home Equity
Mortgage Trust Series 2006-4, and Home Equity Mortgage Trust Series 2006-5 requesting that
this Court issue an Order, pursuant to N.Y.C.R.R. §§ 520.11 and 602.2(a), to admit me, Jennifer
D. English, Esq. pro hac vice to the Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of New
York, and for such other and further relief as this Court may deem just and proper.
