We represent the Defendants Mark and Emest Ast in the above referenced matter. We
write to request a brief adjournment of two weeks for the return date of Plaintiff's Motion to
Amend the Complaint and add an additional party to the matter, The Motion was filed on short
notice late in the evening on March 3™, with a return date of March 11°, leaving our offices only
four business days to investigate and respond to this motion. We contacted Plaintiff's Counsel
yesterday to ask if they would consent to an adjournment and we have yet to receive a response,
We also note that this is Defendants’ first request for an adjournment.
Please advise if the court will grant this adjournment request and should you have any
questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.
