AND TO SHOW CAUSE AND PLAINTIFFS’ MOTION TO COMPEL FOR THIRD SET
OF REQUESTS FOR PRODUCTION
On April 8, 2024 via Zoom, the Court heard Plaintiffs Bernard Tubeileh and
Sinostar Investments LLC's Motion to Compel, for Sanctions, and to Show Cause and
Plaintiffs’ Motion to Compel for Third Set of Requests for Production (the “Motions”). The
Court, after reviewing the Motions, the Responses, and the reply, and upon hearing the
arguments of counsel, has determined that it should be granted, in part, and finds as
follows:
Defendants Global Oil & Gas Texas, LLC and Global Oil & Gas Fields Oklahoma
LLC (collectively “Defendants”) are ORDERED to:
1. On or before April 29, 2024, provide an index of any hard-copy documents
referenced in Defendants’ Supplemental Responses to Plaintiffs’ First Set of
Requests for Production or Defendants’ Responses to Plaintiffs’ Third Set of
Requests for Production and state to which, if any, of Plaintiffs’ requests for
production such hard-copy documents are responsive;
2. On or before April 22, 2024, provide verifications for each of Defendants’
Responses to Plaintiffs' First Set of Interrogatories that comply with the
requirements set forth in Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 197.2(d);
3. On or before April 29, 2024, amend their Responses to Plaintiffs’ First and
Third Sets of Requests for Production 1) to state, for each request, as
appropriate, the content set forth in Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 196.2(b),
and 2) to state, for each request, in their Responses or in a separate document,
Order Granting in Part Plaintiffs’ Motion to Compel, for Sanctions, and to Show Cause and
Motion to Compel for Third Set of Requests for Production Page 1 of 2
whether any documents responsive to that request have been withheld for
privilege, in compliance with Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 193.3; and
4. On or before April 22, 2024, produce all documents previously ordered to be
produced in Associate Judge Craig’s January 12, 2024 Order that have not
yet been produced, if any such documents exist.
