On Wednesday, April 17%, 2024, at approximately 2256 hours, I conducted a traffic stop on a white U-Haul box
truck, bearing Arizona license plate AK 17128, at the intersection of Dixie Highway NE and Palm Bay Road NE,
Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida, 32905.
The vehicle failed to stop behind the marked intersection above, resulting with the vehicle partially blocking the
pedestrian crosswalk.
After conducting the traffic stop, I made contact with the driver and the defendant and informed them of the traffic
infraction.
Once at the window, I immediately smelt the odor of burnt marijuana emanating from the vehicle.
Based on a lawful search of the vehicle, the following item was located:
A white rock-like substance. The substance field-tested positive (FTP) for cocaine. The substance was located on
the floorboard of the passenger seat, directly next to the defendant’s feet. Approximately 0.5 grams of a white
rock-like substance was also located in the center console of the vehicle. It also FTP for cocaine. It was contained
in a wooden box that had multiple green leafy substances located in the box.
After being advised of his constitutional rights, as read from an agency prepared rights card, the defendant advised
the following in substance:
