Judicial District Court for said County, upon its oath do present in and to said Court at said term,
That DOUGLAS ALEXANDER CUEVA, hereinafter called Defendant, on or about the 13th day ofJuly, 2022 in the
County of Dallas, State of Texas, did then and there intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly cause bodily injury
to ENNIS ROMERO, hereinafter called the Complainant, by GRABBING AND SQUEEZING COMPLAINANT'S
THROAT AND NECK WITH A HAND AND HANDS, AND BY STRIKING COMPLAINANT WITH A HAND,
and further, the said offense was committed under the following circumstances, to-wit: the Complainant was a
member of the Defendant's family and household and a person with whom the Defendant has had a dating
relationship,
and further, the Defendant committed the said offense by intentionally, knowingly, and recklessly impeding the
Complainant's normal breathing and circulation of blood by applying pressure to the Complainant's throat and
neck and by blocking the Complainant's nose and mouth,
