‘The Court finds this is a case in which parenting of minor children is
involved and the case is governed by the Nebraska Parenting Act, §43-2920 et.
seq.
Both parties are ordered to complete a basic level parenting education
course pursuant to §43-2928 (1) within 60 days of service or entry of a
voluntary appearance, Each parent is ordered to file with the Court a copy of
their certificate of completion of the course.
If the parties have failed to develop a parenting plan (signed by BOTH
parties) pursuant to §43-2929 within 60 days of service or entry of a voluntary
appearance, the parties are ordered to participate in and complete an
individual screening and mediation or specialized alternative dispute resohition
session pursuant to 843-2937(3). Mediation shall be completed within 90 days
of service or entry of a voluntary appearance. Proof that mediation has
occurred shall be filed with the Court within 100 days of service or entry of a
voluntary appearance herein. The mediation shall be with a mediator approved

by the Nebraska State Court Administrator’s Office. The parties shall
individually bear any costs associated with mediation.
No pretrial or final hearing will be set until the parties have submitted a
proposed parenting plan or have filed certificates showing completion of
mediation. No pretrial or final hearing will be set unless the parties have also
filed certificates of completion of the basic level parenting education course as
set forth above.
