The defendant in this matter having made a swom representation to the Court that he/she is
indigent and requests the appointment of a Public Defender, and
The Court having been advised that the determination of indigent status has been concluded by

retain private counsel immediately before or after filing an affidavit of indigency.
The defendant has been advised to file with the Court a financial affidavit, signed under oath and
under penalty of perjury containing the factual matters set forth in Florida Statute 27.52(2)(a).
The defendant has been informed that if the Public Defender is appointed, a lien for the services
rendered will be imposed by the court pursuant to Florida Statute 938.29.
If this is a prosecution for a misdemeanor, the judge has considered Florida Rule of Criminal
