SUGGESTION OF BANKRUPTCY
On February 28, 2024, Defendant Victor Vidal Vasquez filed a bankruptcy petition under
Chapter 13 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the
Southern District of Texas, docketed as Case Number 24-70052. The bankruptcy proceedings
include the property subject to the instant suit and the automatic stay mandated by 11 U.S.C. § 362
prevents the prosecution of this suit.
Because the automatic bankruptcy stay prohibits further proceedings, Plaintiff requests that
this case be abated for as long as the automatic stay is in effect.
