NO. 3 RECEIVED NYSCEF: 03/04/2024 October 23, 2023 To Whom It May Concern: This letter is to confirm that Hanson Place Central Methodist Episcopal Church and Hanson Place Central United Methodist Church located at 144 St. Felix Street, Brooklyn, NY 11217 with EIN 11- 1631784 are the same church. The United Methodist Church was created on April 23, 1968 when the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church joined to form the new denomination uniting the two denominations to become the United Methodist Church. The name change to the United Methodist Church did not change any other data within the church and individual churches added United to their names and dropped Episcopal from their names. Hanson Place Central Methodist Episcopal Church became Hanson Place Central United Methodist Church. For additional information I can be reached at my email address, confsecy@nyac.com.
