mediation is mandatory absent a showing that a party would be subjected to
unreasonable hardship or burden by participation in the mediation.
PMP conferences take place IN PERSON before the Administrative Judge,
Honorable Adam Silvera or his designee. For the specific date, time and location
of the conference in your case, please refer to WebCivil Supreme - Case Search,
eTrack, SCROLL or your court service provider.
Please confer with the other counsel on the case and jointly contact the ADR
Coordinator with documentation in advance of the PMP conference if:
o The matter is stayed due to bankruptcy filing or court order
o There is a related matter not on the scheduled calendar
o The case has been consolidated with or into another case not on the
scheduled calendar
o This matter has been settled, discontinued, or dismissed
o Parties have stipulated to participate in mandatory early mediation
and have completed the ADR Initiation Form
A party seeking an exemption from early mediation based on a showing of
unreasonable hardship or burden must make an application for such at the PMP
conference.
Please contact the ADR Office if you have any questions. Please do not contact
Justice Silvera’s chambers.
