Notice is hereby given of the pendency of a civil action between the above-named Plaintiff and against WINNIE B.
TEAL, STATE OF CONNECTICUT, DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE SERVICES, STAMFORD WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AUTHORITY,
THE WIDOW, HEIRS AND/OR CREDITORS OF THE ESTATE OF JOHN E. TEAL, and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, DEPARTMENT OF
TREASURY — INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE by Writ dated December 21, 2023 and made returnable to the Superior Court for the
Judicial District of Stamford/Norwalk at Stamford on February 13, 2024, which action is brought, inter alia, to foreclose certain
Tax Liens from WINNIE B. TEAL to The City of Stamford as follows:
A Certificate of Lien for said taxes on the List of October 1, 2016 in the amount of $4,500.72 was recorded on June 12,
2018 in Volume 11960 at Page 291; a Certificate of Lien for said taxes on the List of October 1, 2017 in the amount of $5,584.44
was recorded on June 11, 2019 in Volume 12156 at Page 211; a Certificate of Lien for said taxes on the List of October 1, 2018 in
the amount of $5,763.80 was recorded on June 23, 2020 in Volume 12389 at Page 241; a Certificate of Lien for said taxes on the
List of October 1, 2019 in the amount of $5,763.80 was recorded on June 9, 2021 in Volume 12712 at Page 256; a Certificate of
Lien for said taxes on the List of October 1, 2020 in the amount of $5,892.86 was recorded on June 8, 2022 in Volume 13009 at
Page 124; and a Certificate of Lien for said taxes on the List of October 1, 2021 in the amount of $5,943.18 was recorded on
June 7, 2023 in Volume 13185 at Page 247 all of the Stamford Land Records, plus interest, fees and costs.
In said action, the following items are claimed: (1) Foreclosure of the Certificates of Lien; (2) Foreclosure of the
inchoate lien on the List of October 1, 2022, pursuant to §12-163 and §12-172 of the Connecticut General Statutes; QB) A
judgment of foreclosure; (4) Immediate possession of the Premises; (5) Costs and reasonable attorney's fees pursuant as by
statute made and provided; (6) Interest pursuant to statute; (7) A deficiency judgment; and (8) Such other and further relief as
the Court may deem just and equitable.
The property the Plaintiff seeks an interest in and to is located in the City of Stamford, County of Fairfield and State of
Connecticut, and is known as 19 West Street, Stamford, Connecticut, and is more particularly bounded and described as set
forth on Schedule A attached hereto.
