Comes now the Plaintiff, by counsel, and petitions the court for a default judgment against
the Defendant for the following reasons:
1. That Plaintiff filed its Complaint against the Defendant on June 7, 2022, and said
complaint was served on said Defendant CHRISTOPHER A VEGA on or about April 10, 2023 by
Sheriff of Cass County, Indiana.
2. That said Defendant(s) has/have not answered, either in person or by counsel.
3. That pursuant to Trial Rule 55 of the Indiana Rules of Trial Procedure, Plaintiff is entitled
to a judgment by default.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff prays for a default judgment as follows:
Against the Defendant, CHRISTOPHER A VEGA
in the amount of $11,147.20
plus prejudgment interest from 11/05/2021
at the rate of $ 6.41 per day in the amount of $1,686.74
plus reasonable attorney fees in the amount of $1,500.00
For a total judgment against Defendant(s)
in the sum of $14,333.94
plus court costs in the sum of $185.00
