COTTRELL, the Executor ofthe ESTATE OF CRAIG COTTRELL 21 AKA CRAIG EVAN COTTRELL, Decedent, hereby renders to the Court his Final Account and 22 Report 0n Administration, Waiver 0f Account and Administrator Fees, Petition for Distribution, 23 and Statutory Attorney Fees for the period beginning December 27, 2020, and ending March 3 1, 24 2022. 25 IN SUPPORT THEREOF, PETITIONER ALLEGES: 26 1. PETITIONER: Petitioner, EVAN P. COTTRELL, was appointed the Executor 27 - 1 _ VERIFIED FINAL ACCOUNT AND REPORT ON ADMINISTRATION \r V 0f the ESTATE OF CRAIG COTTRELL AKA CRAIG EVAN COTTRELL, Decedent, on December 21 2021. The Decedent’s , will dated August 8, 201 5 was admitted t0 probate. A copy of the Will is attached as Exhibit A. The Court declined to admit a Codicil dated August 11, 201 5 as it was not properly executed. A copy with Codicil is attached as Exhibit B. Petitioner’s counsel sent a letter to the witness and beneficiary named in the Codicil, but did not receive any information about its execution. A copy of the letter is attached as Exhibit C. 2. RESIDENCE AND DATE OF DEATH: CRAIG COTTRELL AKA CRAIG EVAN COTTRELL died on December 27, 2020, and was a resident of San Bemardino County at the time of his death. 10 3. HISTORY OF PROBATE: The Decedent owned residential real propeny in San 11 Bernardino County; 30764 Live Oak Dr., Running Springs, California 92382 (“the Property”). 12 The Decedent also owned a vehicle valued at $2700, a 2007 Toyota Scion, California License 13 Number 5WUT61 5, swords, bows and arrows, and a bank account of $23,187.47. 14 4. The Decedent died testate. Decedent was not married on Decedent’s death. The 15 Decedent did not have children and no deceased children 16 5. The Petitioner is the Decedent’s sole heir in the Will admitted t0 Probate of the 17 undistributed Property. He has waived an Accounting of the Estate and waived administrator’s 18 fees. A copy of his Waiver is filed herewith. The swords, bows and arrows have already been 19 distributed and receipts executed by the beneficiaries are filed herewith. 20 6. Petitioner filed a Petition for Probate for Letters of Administration. An Order 21 appointing Petitioner as Executor with Full Authorization to Administer Estate under the 22 Independent Administration Estates Act was entered 0n December 21, 2021 and Letters 0f 23 Administration were issued on December 28, 2021, with full authority to administer the Estate 24 under the Independent Administration of Estates Act. Bond of $59,000 was posted as required. 25 Petitioner used his authority to Administer the estate under the Independent Administration of 26 Estates Act for Notice of Proposed Action to sell the Property. The Property sold for $425,000. 27 A copy of the closing statement of escrow is included as Exhibit D. There was a gain on sale of VERIFIED FINAL ACCOUNT AND REPORT ON ADMINISTRATION
