David M. Whittaker, the Trustee (“Trustee”) in the Chapter 7 bankruptcy case filed by
the Plaintiff Ed Map, Inc. notifies the Court as follows:
1 On July 27, 2018 the Defendants Delta Career Education Corporation, Miller-Motte,
Business College, Inc., McCann School of Business and Technology, Inc., McCann
Education Centers, Inc., Berks Technical Institute, Inc., Atlantic Coast Colleges, Inc.,
Piedmont Business Colleges, Inc. and Palmetto Technical Colleges, Inc. (the “Delta
Defendants”) each filed a Chapter 7 petition in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the
Eastern Division of Virginia. A copy of the Notice of the Delta Career Education
Corporation Chapter 7 is attached as Exhibit A.

2. On August 1 2018 the Bankruptcy Court entered an Order for the Joint
Administration of the Chapter 7 cases of the Delta Defendants (plus certain other
related Chapter 7 debtors who are not parties in this case). A copy of the Joint
Administration Order is attached as Exhibit B
3 Notice is further given that the provisions of 11 U.S.C. §362(a) create an automatic
stay upon the filing of the Chapter 7 cases by the Delta Defendants. Specifically,
§362 states as follows

Automatic stay
{a} Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, a petition filed under section or
“HSS of this fitle, or an application filed under section 5(a)(3) of the Securities Investor Protection Act
of 1970, operates as a stay, applicable to all entities, of—

ORDER (1) DIRECTING JOINT ADMINISTRATION OF
CHAPTER 7 CASES AND (II) GRANTING RELATED RELIEF
Upon the motion (the “Motion”)' of the above-captioned debtors and debtors in
possession (collectively, the “Debtors”) for entry of an order (this “Order”): (a) directing the
joint administration of the Debtors’ chapter 7 cases for procedural purposes only; and
(b) granting related relief, all as more fully set forth in the Motion; and this Court having
jurisdiction over this matter pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 157 and 1334; and this Court having found
that this is a core proceeding pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 157(b)(2); and that this Court may enter a
final order consistent with Article III of the United States Constitution; and this Court having
found that venue of this proceeding and the Motion in this district is proper pursuant to 28 U.S.C.
§§ 1408 and 1409; and this Court having found that the Debtors’ notice of the Motion and
opportunity for a hearing on the Motion were appropriate under the circumstances and no other
notice need be provided; and this Court having reviewed the Motion and having heard the
statements in support of the relief requested therein at a hearing before this Court
(the “Hearing”); and this Court having determined that the legal and factual bases set forth in the
Motion and at the Hearing establish just cause for the relief granted herein; and upon all of the
proceedings had before this Court; and after due deliberation and sufficient cause appearing
therefor, it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
1 The Motion is granted as set forth herein.
2. The above-captioned chapter 7 cases are consolidated for procedural purposes
only and shall be jointly administered by the Court under Case No. 18-33822-KLP.

directing or otherwise effecting a substantive consolidation of these chapter 7 cases.
