We are writing to advise you of these modifications and the implementation of the changes. In furtherance of the changes previously made in the Legal Series five years ago, the Classification Plan with regard to the Court Attorney and Court Attorney (Trial Part) Series will be modified, effective February 2, 2023, as follows: TITLE COURT ASSIGNMENT Court Attorney (JG-23) Supreme, County, Surrogate's, Court of Claims, Family Senior Court Attorney (JG-26) Supreme, County, Surrogate's, Court of Claims, Family Associate Court Attorney (JG-30) Supreme, County,Surrogate's, Court of Claims, Family Court Attorney (Trial Part) (JG-23) District, NYC Criminal, NYC Civil, City Courts with (2) or more full-time judges Senior Court Attorney (Trial Part) (JG-25) District, NYC Criminal, NYC Civil, City Courts with (2) or more full-time judges Associate Court Attorney (Trial Part) (JG-29) District, NYC Criminal, NYC Civil, City Courts with (2) or more full-time judges The above reflects a change in the Court Attorney Series to eliminate the population requirement, i.e., populations exceeding 400,000, and specifically designate such titles in the Family Courts. Accordingly, attorneys assigned to the Family, County and Surrogate's Courts will no longer be placed in the Court Attorney (Trial Part) Series. 25 BˆAVER sTREET, NEW YORK, NEW YORK * PHONE: 212-428-2120 10004 " FAX: 212-428-2190 FILED: WESTCHESTER COUNTY CLERK 08/07/2023 01:42 PM INDEX NO. 61982/2023 NYSCEF DOC.
