DEFAULT JUDGMENT
On this day came on for consideration Plaintiff's Motion for Entry of Default Judgment in
the above-styled and numbered cause. The Court, having reviewed the court record and evidence
presented by Plaintiff's Motion, FINDS this Court has jurisdiction over the subject matter and
parties in this proceeding; that Defendant Marvin Welch, though served with Citation, has failed
to answer Plaintiff's Petition; that the Citation has been filed with the Court for the requisite
period as provided for by the Rules, and that Plaintiff has established the amount of its damages;
therefore, the Court GRANTS Plaintiff's Motion for Entry of Default Judgment. IT IS
THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that judgment is entered for Plaintiff
LVNV Funding LLC against Defendant Marvin Welch in the following amounts:
1. Judgment in the amount of $1,483.54 as actual damages.
2. All costs of court, which as of the date of this judgment consists of the following:
a. Court Costs in the amount of $55.56;
b. Process Server Fees in the amount of $86.50; and
c. Post-Judgment Interest on all the above sums at 8.50% per annum.
3. Total Judgment: $1,625.60
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that this judgment shall
accrue interest from the date hereof until satisfied.
THIS ORDER disposes of all issues and all parties before the court in this matter and is
final for purposes of an appeal. Execution may issue on this judgment.
