Notice of Right to Appeal Tax Master Recommended Judgment Entry to the Trial Court
Pursuant to Texas Property Tax Code §33.72(c), notice is hereby given that on the date and time referenced above,
Plaintiffs will seek entry of a Judgment or other appealable order by the Tax Master for the District Courts of
Galveston County. All parties to the lawsuit have the right of appeal the Tax Master’s ruling to the judge of the
court. Texas Property Tax Code §33.74 requires that all appeals must be in writing and must specify the findings
and conclusions that are being appealed. The written appeal must be filed with the Clerk of the Court before the
expiration of thirteen (13) days after the date of the hearing. All written appeals must be mailed to the Clerk of
the Court at:
600 59th Street, Room 4001, Galveston County Justice Center, Galveston, Texas 77551-2388
Once the Judgment or Order has been entered, a copy will be available for free download on the District Clerk’s
website at: http://www.galvestoncountytx.gov/dc/Pages/default.aspx
