On June 6, 2022, came to be heard the above-entitled and numbered cause. Tania Ramirez
(the “Contestant”), appeared in person through her counsel of record before the Court and
announced ready for trial. Ricardo “Richard” Cortez (the “Contestee”) appeared in person through
his counsel of record before the Court and announced ready for trial.
On June 9, 2022, the Contestant concluded her presentation of evidence and announced
that she rested. The Contestee filed and moved for a Directed Verdict and stated his grounds for
seeking that The Court considered the pleadings and the official records on file in this cause,
relief.

o There were significant mistakes made in administration of the Primary, but that those
mistakes would not change the outcome of the election;
