                    Civ.R. 10(D)(2) requires a plaintiff, when filing a complaint that contains a medical claim,

            to include an affidavit of merit. An affidavit of merit shall be provided by an expert witness as to

            each defendant named in the complaint for whom expert testimony is necessary to establish

             liability. Civ.R. 10(D)(2)(a). The purpose of requiring an affidavit of merit is to deter the filing of

            frivolous medical malpractice claims and to “establish the adequacy of the complaint.”                Bixby v.

             Ohio State   Univ.,   10th   Dist. Franklin   No.   17AP-802,     2018-Ohio-2016,   4] 9, quoting Jackson   v.

            Northeast Pre-Release Ctr., 10th Dist. No. O9AP-457, 2010-Ohio-1022, 4] 15, quoting Fletcher v.

             Univ. Hosps. of Cleveland, 120 Ohio St.3d 167, 2008-Ohio-5379, 897 N.E.2d 147, 4] 10.

                    For good cause shown, Plaintiff's Motion for Extension of Time to File an Affidavit of

             Merit(s) with regards to this case is well taken and is hereby GRANTED.             Plaintiff has ninety (90)

            days from the date of this Order to file an Affidavit of Merit(s) with regard to this case.
