DEFAULT FINAL JUDGMENT FOR POSSESSION
THIS CAUSE came to be heard on the plaintiff's Motion for Default Final Judgment. A review
of the court file reflects that the defendant filed an Answer to the plaintiff's complaint and then posted
rent for February and March. Defendant has failed to post rent for April into the registry of the court.
Florida Statutes require a tenant to deposit rent in the registry of the court in order to defend an action for
possession. Because the defendant has failed to do so, the plaintiff is entitled to a final judgment for
possession.
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the plaintiff's motion is GRANTED.
1 Final Judgment is hereby entered in favor of the plaintiff and against the defendant for
possession of the premises located at 400 Turtle Run #104, Sebastian, Florida, for which let Writ of
Possession issue forthwith.
2. That plaintiff recover from said defendant the costs of this action in the sum of $0, for which
let execution issue.
