IN MEDICAL MALPRACTICE ACTION
COMES NOW the Petitioner, PEGGY JANET WALD, as the Personal
Representative of Estate of Jerome Herbert Spector, pursuant to Fla.Stat. 766.104(2),
and petitions the Clerk of the Court for a 90-day extension of the Statute of Limitations
set forth in Fla.Stat. 95.11, to allow the reasonable investigation of a medical
malpractice claim as required by Fla.Stat. 766.104, and states that a 90-day extension
at this time is necessary to obtain sufficient information to establish liability among
several possible defendants.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner requests to extend the statute of limitation for a period
of ninety (90) days as authorized by Fla.Stat. 766.104(2). The applicable statute of
limitations has not yet expired.
