FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT 13 14 Background 15 On January 25, 2019, Plaintiff De Witte Mortgage Investors Fund, LLC (“Plaintiff”) filed 16 || this unlawful detainer action against Defendants 1565 Haslam, LLC, Lee Wong, Alex Cardenas 17} aka Alejandro Cardenas, Ruben Trejo, and LW Asset Manazement, LLC. This action concerns 18 possession of the property located at 2115 Kress Street, Los Angeles, California 90046 (the 19 “Property”). Plaintiffs alleges that it pucchased the Property following a foreclosure sale and that 20 || Defendants continued to occupy the Property after service of a 90-day notice to quit and deliver 2} up possession. (Comphint {ff 2-5.) On March 18, 2019, default and default judgment as to ad 22 possession were entered agains: the aforementioned defendénts. wt 33 On April 4, 20:9, Sandra Ann Will Carradine (“Carredine”) filed a Claim of Right to :24 |! Possession with the Court. Carradine claims a right to possession of the Property as the occupant 25 |! of the Property on the date the Complaint was filed. Carradine’s Claim of Right to Possession 26 || was granted on April 23, 2019, and the Complaint was deemed amended to include Carradine as 27° a defendant.
