On January 19, 2023, came to be heard Defendant/Counter-Plaintiff G&G Closed Circuit
Events, LLC’s Plea in Abatement and after considering said Plea the evidence and arguments of
counsel, the Court finds that said Plea should be in all things GRANTED.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED and DECREED, that the instant lawsuit is
hereby Abated until such time as a final and non-appealable order is issued finally resolving Civil
Action No. 7;21-CV-00436 in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas,
McAllen Division; G&G Closed Circuit Events, LLC, as Broadcast Licensee of the: (i) December
18, 2020 Gennadiy Golovkin v. Kamil Szermenta Middleweight Championship Fight Program;
(ii) December 19, 2020 Saul “ Canelo” Alvarez v. Callum Smith Super Middleweight
Championship Fight Program; and (iii) February 27, 2021 Saul “Canelo” Alvarez v. Avni Yildirim
