I,Julie Allen, being duly sworn, deposes and says I am the Authorized Representative of
Plaintiff and, 1 make this affidavit from personal knowledge and from knowledge derived from the
books and records of Plaintiff regularly kept in itsordinary course of business, which records are
under my supervision and control, and I am familiar with the facts and proceedings of this action.
The basis ofjurisdiction isthat the Defendant, Ronnie Carlson was served via service upon
a person of suitable age and discretion at Defendant's place of abode on August 17, 2021.
Additional mailing of the Summons and Complaint was made on August 23, 2021, pursuant to
CPLR § 3215.
As this is a consumer credit transaction, the basis of venue is the Defendant resides with
and in the County of Franklin.
The facts constituting this claim are as follows: On or about July 25, 2016, the Defendant
entered into a Note and Security Agreement with OpenRoad Lending, LLC for the purchase of
one (1) 2010 Toyota Camry (V.I.N. 4T1BF3EK6AU076833). Said contract was assigned by
OpenRoad Lending, LLC to First Investors Financial Services, Inc. ("Original Creditor").
Thereafter, the contract was assigned by the Original Creditor to the Plaintiff herein. The

Defendant breached the contract by failing to make payments when due and owing and is indebted
to the Plaintiff in the amount ofNine Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-Nine and 71/100 ($9,859.71)
Dollars, which sum represents principal and interest through October 22, 2021.
