To Whom It May Concern:
Case#2007CA08576NC
This is in regards to the lawsuit filed by The Bank of New York against Kyle F. Long.
Back in the end of October of 2006 I was offered a Staff Position with Landsafe
Appraisal Services, which is the appraisal department under the financial institution of
Countrywide Home Loans. Up until then I had my own appraisal company under Long
and Associates, INC.
I took the position with great pride, however, I was not aware that Countrywide’s
payment policy for their appraisers. Needless to say I really didn’t receive a full months
pay until the end of December.
My checks were.
10/31 $998.31
11/15 $998.31
11/30 $2121.45
12/01 $654.11
12/15 $1,103.62
12/31 $9,327.96
Total before December 31 $5,875.80. Almost two months pay at $2,937.90. Back then
my monthly bills totaled $8,000 per month.
Needless to say, I got way behind on both of my mortgages. I have another house where
I’m the main source of income with the mortgage on that home being, $4,800. My
current mortgage on the other home is being eliminated because we’re selling the home,
and we close around the 28" of August. It is without a doubt I can afford the mortgage
on the home on Clematis Street, I just need some help. Also, the Clematis Street home is
currently listed for $249,000, well worth the list price, but I’m going to under list the
home for what I owe Countrywide, the current late payments, fees, and the realtor fees.
If you will just work with me to get the home out of the foreclosure process, I’m without
a doubt that the home would sell within a few weeks with the lower list price. Also, in
good faith I can put down a substantial amount of money, and almost double my monthly
payments to get current on the mortgage if the company will just work with me. I
appreciate your time.
