Dear Judgment Debtor:
Please be advised that the annexed judgment have been entered against you. A transcript of
judgment has or will be docketed with the appropriate County Clerk's office. The filing of a
transcript creates a lien against the subject premises and any other property you may own, and may
affect any sale or refinancing you undertake, as well as affect your credit standing.
Furthermore, this judgment will be referred to the Judgment Enforcement Unit of the Division
for collection of the outstanding judgment.
Therefore, unless we receive payment of the judgment amount as indicated above within ten
(10) days of the date hereof, enforcement of the judgment will proceed and you may expect
utilization of one of more of the following methods of collection against you.
1) FORECLOSURE OR SHERIFF'S SALE OF PROPERTY.
2) ATTACHMENT OF YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS.
3) GARNISHMENT OF YOUR WAGES.
4) SERVICE OF RENT DEMANDS ON THE TENANTS IN YOUR BUILDING TO PAY
ALL RENTS DUE OVER TO THIS OFFICE.
5) APPOINTMENT OF A JUDGMENT RECEIVER TO COLLECT THE RENTS AT
YOUR BUILDING TO SATISFY THE JUDGMENT AGAINST YOU AND SELL THE
PROPERTY.
6) SEIZURE OF YOUR NON-EXEMPT PERSONAL PROPERTY, SUCH AS YOUR
CAR, YOUR BOAT, OR OFFICE EQUIPMENT.
7) DOCKETING OF TRANSCRIPTS OF JUDGMENT IN YOUR COUNTY OF
RESIDENCE AND OTHER COUNTIES WHERE YOU MAY OWN REAL PROPERTY
CREATING A LIEN AGAINST THAT PROPERTY.
8) REPORTING OUR OUTSTANDING JUDGMENT TO VARIOUS STATE AGENCIES
FOR REVOCATION OF ANY LICENSES YOU MAY HOLD.
This letter is theonly notice you will receive before we commence proceedings. If you wish
to avoid such proceedings, you, your attorney or other representative must contact the attorney
named in the attached Order and Judgment within the (10) day period. This is an attempt to
collect a debt; any information obtained will be used for that purpose.
Yours truly

NOTICE TO JUDGMENT DEBTOR
Money or property belonging to you may have been taken or held in order to satisfy a
judgment, which has been entered against you. Read this carefully.
YOU MAY BE ABLE TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK
State and federal laws prevent certain money or property from being taken to satisfy
judgments. Such money or property is said to be "exempt". The following is a partial list of
money, which may be exempt:
1. Supplemental Security Income, (SSI)
2. Social Security;
3. Public Assistance (welfare);
4. Alimony or child support;
5. Unemployment benefits;
6. Disability benefits;
7. Workers compensation benefits;
8. Public or private pensions; and
Veterans'
9. benefits.
If you think that any of your money that has been taken or held is exempt, you must act
promptly because the money may be applied to the judgment. If you claim that any of your money
that has been taken or held is exempt, you may contact the person sending this notice.
Also, YOU MAY CONSULT AN ATTORNEY, INCLUDING LEGAL AID IF YOU
QUALIFY. The law (New York Civil Practice Laws and Article Four and Sections Fifty-
Rules,
two Hundred Thirty-nine and Fifty-two Hundred Forty) provides a procedure for determination of a
claim to an exemption.
