On November 8, 2019, a DEP fieldmspector "rd (718)5954m 2" Fax. 595-5647 V15ited theproperty and found a 6-story vacant buildirigwith meter Hl 8266475 installed (718) customersemesedeo nvo cov 4" illegallyand rneterBl9086273 supplying fire spnakler service on a cast iron service, allegallyinstalledwithout valid DEP permits, whicit was in violation of NYC law. On December 19, 20 t9, DEP reviewed the account billing,a Then of Service Account Admimstration fee of 5650.00 and ACC were irnposed on the account startmg November 19, 2018 and would continue to be the method of bilhng untu the volations were corrected When ACC are unposed on an account, at willremain the rnonthly method of billmg water and sewer charges until access to the water meter and/orservice line is provided. ACC will resultin you paying significantly higher water and sewer rates for service. On July 31, 2020, domestic meter Hl8266475 and fire/sprinklermeter Bl9086273 were legally installed,via DEP pernuts. On August 12, 2020, a DEP fieldinspector revisitedthe pmperty and found both meters setproperly, sealed the meters, and installeda new Meter Transmitting Unit on the outer surface of the property. On February 19, 2021, the ACC was pterated as of August 12, 2020. Subsequent meter charges were issued for the serviceperiod August 12,2020 to February 19, 2021 totalmg S330.69, based on actual water usage recorded for the property. Also, the associated late payment charges (mterest)totaling $301.31 were reversed. Please be advised property owners are responsible for the maintenance of theproperty's plumbmg system These revised charges are valid and no furtherad,justment warranted.
