UPON the reading and filing the Emergency Affirmation and the Affirmation in Support of
Charles Marino, Esq. dated April 28, 2022, on behalf of the Sharova Law Firm, attorneys for
Defendants Fatima Corporan a/k/a Fatima Betances, Jose Anibal Marrero, and upon the exhibits
attached hereto,
LET the Defendants Fatima Corporan a/k/a Fatima Betances, Jose Anibal Marrero
(hereinafter “Defendants Corporan and Marrero”), SHOW CAUSE at ___________ of this
Court, _________________________________ presiding, held at the Supreme Court, Queens
County, 88-11 Sutphin Blvd., Jamaica, NY 11435 on ___________ ____, 2022 at 9:30 A.M., or
as soon as the parties can be heard why an order should not be made, providing the following
relief:
a. An Order granting movant leave to withdraw as counsel of record for Defendants
Corporan and Marrero pursuant to CPLR§ 321(b)(2);
b. Granting a 60 day stay so that Defendants Corporan and Marrero can retain new
counsel; and
c. Such other and further relief as the Court may deem just and proper.
SUFFICIENT CAUSE appearing therefore, it is hereby
ORDERED that pending the hearing and determination of this Order to Show Cause,
including any adjourn dates thereof, and until further Order of the Court, Plaintiff and
Defendants, their agents, employees, representatives and all other persons acting for or in their
behalf are hereby restrained and enjoined from selling/auctioning the subject property located at
111-10 106th Street, Ozone Park, New York 11417, said sale/auction being schedule for May 4,
2022 at 10:50am;
ORDERED that service of a copy of this Order with supporting documents be made upon
Fatima Corporan a/k/a Fatima Betances, Jose Anibal Marrero, Defendants herein via
overnight mail to their last known address that our firm has used to mail written communication,

Gordon, LLP, attorneys for Plaintiff, without copies of supporting documents attached thereto,
