This office represents the Plaintiff,Joanne Freire, in the above referenced matter.
In connection with the motions for summary judgment returnable January 19,2021, (motion seq.3 and 4),
in front of Hon. Janice A. Taylor, J.S.C.,our office subpoenaed the Plaintiff'scertified Elmhurst Hospital
records, which are now available in the Queens Supreme Subpoena Room. (The hospital's policy allows for
such records to be provided only directly to the Court pursuant to a subpoena). An E-Law docket page
referencing the records isannexed hereto. I have tried to contact the subpoena room several times but it
seems to be closed due to the pandemic.
As the records are vitalto Plaintiff's opposition to the motions, I am writing to seek the Court's guidance as
to how to either obtain a copy of such records from the courthouse or otherwise reference them without
producing the actual certified copies.
