Plaintiff is informed and believes and thereon alleges that each of said fictitiously-named defendants is legally responsible for the damages suffered by Plaintiff in the incident described hereinafter. Plaintiff prays leave to amend this complaint to set forth the true names and capacities of such defendants whenever ascertained. 2. At all times hercin mentioned, defendant HROTH WYNN CURAMENG and DOES 1-10 were the registered owners and operators of a certain 2004 Toyota Matrix bearing the California license plate number JOHWYN and owned, operated, repaired, maintained, serviced, and inspected said vehicle. 4. Onor about December 29, 2009, at approximately 7:40 p.m., defendant HROTHWYNN CURAMENG and DOES 1-10 were operating the Toyota Matrix described above with the knowledge and permission of the owners described above and were traveling southbound on Scott Street, at the intersection with Oak Street in the City and County of San Francisco, State of California. 5. Atsaid time and place, Plaintiff ERIC JOHNSON was lawfully walking in the east crosswaik of Scott Street, crossing Oak Street in a northbound direction in the City and County of San Francisco, State of California. 6. At that time and place, defendants HROTHWYNN CURAMENG and DOES 1 through 10, carelessly and negligently operated, owned, repaired, maintained, serviced, and inspected the Toyota Matrix described above by failing to yield to oncoming pedestrians in the crosswalk while making a left hand turn from southbound Scott Street onto eastbound Oak Street and caused said vehicle to strike Plaintiff and caused Plaintiff to be thrown onto the hood of said vehicle and onto the pavement, sustaining the serious injuries and damages hereinafter described. 7. By reason of the facts alleged above, Plaintiff sustained severe personal injuries and pain and suffering of both mind and body. 8. By reason of the facts alleged above, Plaintiff has been compelled to incur obligations as and for medical services, medicines, hospitalization, and other incidental expenses and will in the future be compelled to incur additional obligations therefore.
