Plaintiff removed the brake shoes and used wire brushes, screw drivers, and chisels to clean the drums, and then installed the new shoes and put the wheels back on. Plaintiff sanded brake shoes and drums whenever needed. 1937 DODGE Brothers: Plaintiff purchased this car used. Plaintiff removed all four wheel drums and replaced the brakes with BENDIX brakes in 1967. Plaintiff purchased BENDIX brakes from NAPA AUTO PARTS, Oakland, California. Plaintiff also replaced engine gaskets with VICTOR exhaust gaskets. 1950/1951 PLYMOUTH Savoy: Plaintiff purchased this vehicle new. Plaintiff replaced the original brakes with BENDIX brakes in 1965. Plaintiff recalls the brakes were purchased from | NAPA AUTO PARTS, Oakland or San Leandro, Califomia. Plaintiff also reptaced gaskets with VICTOR exhaust gaskets and head gaskets. 1953 CHEVROLET truck: Plaintiff purchased this vehicle used in 1967 or 1968. From 1968 to | 1969, plaintiff replaced the brakes two times with BENDIX brakes. Plaintiff purchased the brakes from NAPA AUTO PARTS, Garden City, Kansas, and CHECKER AUTO PARTS, Arizona. Plaintiff replaced the exhaust and gaskets with VICTOR gaskets.
