To The Judge at Small Claims Court
I am the owner of 77 Hollenbeck Rd, West Cornwall, CT 06796.
Michael D. Webster and Lynn A. Webster rented these premises as the attached
lease states for two years, from March 15, 2015 through March 14, 2017.
On September 15, 2016 they did not pay the rent, and requests from me by text
asking for the rent have been ignored. I sent the attached letter by certified mail
asking for the rent, and reiterating that they are legally liable for the term of the
lease. I received an email (See attached) on September 19, stating that they are
vacating on October 15, 2016, however no rent for September has been received,
and their lease still has six months of rent @ $1400 per month, plus monthly
propane and electric costs, as well as maintenance. They are also responsible for
filling the propane tank on March 14, 2017. They do not have a thirty day vacate
clause. I fear they have abandoned the premises, as the electrician went to do the
