COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS
THE TRIAL COURT
PROBATE AND FAMILY COURT DEPARTMENT
MIDDLESEX DIVISION DOCKET #
Julianne D’Amato (AKA Ciccolo),
PLAINTIFF
v.
Stephen Anthony D'Amato,
DEFENDANT
PLAINTIFF’S AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF MOTION FOR TEMPORARY ORDERS
I, Julianne Ciccolo, do depose and state as follows:
1. Stephen D’Amato (“Steve”) and I have been married for nine years. We separated in January
2022.
2. We have three children together: Ralph, age 10; Domenic, age 7; and Amelia, age 3. The
children live with me in the home Steve and I bought together in August 2020, located at 7
Jonathan Lane, Townsend, MA.
3. I have always been the main caregiver for the children. I get them ready for school and get them
on the bus; I schedule and take them to medical appointments; I buy their clothing and prepare
their meals; I schedule and take them to activities; and I get them ready for bed at night.
4. Since we separated, Steve and I have tried to work together so he could see the kids, and he has
been visiting with them mostly on Saturdays for two to eight hours. At first, he did this at the
home we used to share. Now, he takes them out for the day, and this has worked better for us.
5. I also think a co-parenting application will help us cooperate about the visits with the kids.
6. My only source of income is social security disability benefits for me and two of my children
through me. I believe that Steve has been paying the household bills for telephone, internet,
electric, oil and gas since we separated. The mortgage and household bills are more than I can
afford with my disability payments while paying for the kids’ groceries, clothes, and
transportation. I have been a stay-at-home mom for most of our marriage. I believe that Steve
makes more than $100,000 from his jobs as a court officer, constable, and TV personality.
7. I also cannot pay for the children’s extracurricular activities without Steve’s help. Amelia is in
dance, and Domenic is starting basketball. Ralph would like to start guitar lessons, but I can’t
afford it.
8. For all of these reasons, I respectfully ask the Court to grant the orders I have requested so that
Steve and I can co-parent and support our kids while this divorce case is pending.
